Listen: Ali Velshi says “Bidenomics” Benefit Red States Most

MSNBC anchor and Citizen Board member says those who reject Biden and his policies are benefiting — and taking credit for — them

Inflation has cooled significantly, says Ali Velshi. In the first quarter of this year, personal income, especially in North Dakota, Nebraska, and South Carolina has increased above the national average of 5.1 percent, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. And yet, House leader Kevin McCarthy has called “Bidenomics” an “economic disaster.”

Meanwhile, other Republican leaders who voted against Biden’s policies are taking credit for their impact. Arkansas Senators Boozman and Cotton, both who voted against Biden’s infrastructure bill, are taking credit for statewide improvements to “roads, trails, and railways.” Congressperson Alderholt of Alabama, who also voted against the bill, is taking credit for improvements to his state. Likewise Alabama freshman Senator Tuberville, who’s touting broadband expansion, funded by the bill he voted against.

Says Velshi, “Republicans: Vocally dragging Biden’s policies, yet bragging about the funding and nationwide economic victories that happened as a result does not make them hometown heroes. It simply makes the hypocrites.”
