Cancelling your membership before its expiration will not result in a prorated refund. You can cancel automatic renewal at any time through your member portal. Providing additional information at sign up (a profile picture, job title and company name, LinkedIn URL and your interests) will be public in our member directory and available to all active members. These entries are optional.

    Inspired by the Green Bay Packers’ public ownership model, this tier offers stakeholder ownership in Citizen Media Group, the nonprofit parent of Philadelphia magazine and The Philadelphia Citizen. Stakeholder shares carry no dividends, can’t be resold, and have no purchase limit — but they can be passed down. Stakeholders receive three years of benefits including invitations to our Stakeholder meeting and exclusive gatherings like the Civic Revival Retreat (including a lunch with Board Chairman David L. Cohen). You’ll also vote to fill an observer seat on the Board of Trustees, gain access to the Civic Connector Network, and more.

By entering an event or program of The Philadelphia Citizen, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with The Philadelphia Citizen and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising. By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
