Sodas with The Citizen and Connor Barwin

While some retailers and restauranteurs are up in arms over Philly’s new soda tax, Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico (owners of Hawthornes, the Cambridge, and Tio Flores) are using it as an opportunity to fundraise for their neighborhood elementary school by matching and then donating sweetened-beverage tax revenue to Jackson Elementary.

Join The Philadelphia Citizen, and Eagles defensive end and Make The World Better Foundation founder Connor Barwin, on Wednesday evening for a happy hour in support of this initiative. The Cambridge will feature soda-based drink specials—and when you sign up for The Citizen’s mailing list or membership, we’ll buy you a drink!

The Philadelphia Citizen will only publish thoughtful, civil comments. If your post is offensive, not only will we not publish it, we'll laugh at you while hitting delete.
