Stephen St.Vincent, In-House Counsel and Social Action Coordinator for The Philadelphia Citizen
Stephen St.Vincent, In-House Counsel/Social Action Coordinator

Stephen St.Vincent may be trained as a lawyer, but he certainly doesn’t act like one. After spending the better part of three years representing Philadelphia’s child welfare agency in family court, he shifted his focus to policy and politics.  He has served on multiple Mayoral and City Council campaigns, worked with nonprofits on issue advocacy, and published articles aimed at increasing civic engagement. In his free time, he serves as the board chairman of the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Stephen studied astronomy and computer science at Swarthmore College.  After briefly living in Iowa (where he programmed video games) and Mississippi (where he served in AmeriCorps with Habitat for Humanity), he then attended the University of Michigan Law School.
