An Ode To Students

A teacher at Stonehurst Elementary School in Upper Darby sends a video message to her students, "I Miss You. Love, Mrs. N."

Well after they’d bid their students farewell for what turned out to be the last time this school year, the teachers of Stonehurst Elementary School in Upper Darby could not stop thinking about the kids.

They worried about them. They remembered what made them laugh, and got them upset. They missed them.

So in a virtual faculty meeting a couple weeks ago, they decided to show them just how much with a short video featuring every Stonehurst teacher, some of their pets and children—and, occasionally, a teacher joke. (They also invited students to send in pajama pictures, for a pajama day video they sent around as well.)

The teacher video is lovely. And it exemplifies so much of what students everywhere are missing by not being with their teachers in person these days.

See what we mean, below. And then, send us your tribute videos from teachers/students/peers—we’d love to see and share them.
