Thanks to the iconic board game Strat-O-Matic Baseball, The Philadelphia Citizen is bringing you the simulated box scores of your Phillies’ 2020 season.

It was a close game at Citizens Bank Park, but the Phils got the W against the Texas Rangers, winning 4-2. Fans were stoked to see J.T. Realmuto blast a triple to send home two runs, which helped bring the Phils’ record up to an even 12-12.

In a close game the Philadelphia team got by the Texas team by the score of 4
to 2.
 
Texas fell behind quickly as the Philadelphia offense came through in the
first inning scoring 2 runners on 2 hits.  The key offensive moment was
provided by J.T. Realmuto who came through for the home fans when he tripled
scoring two baserunners.  Philadelphia finished with just 6 hits in the
victory.  
 
The winning pitcher was Aaron Nola(4-1) who allowed 1 run in 7 innings. Hector
Neris recorded the save, his 7th.  Kyle Gibson(1-3) was tagged with the loss.
Despite the loss, he struckout 10 Philadelphia batters in 6 innings.
