Meet the Civic Innovators

The Citizen recognizes a few of the Civic Innovators bringing forth change in Philly

“What if we threw a party that didn’t pat ourselves on the back so much as shined a spotlight on those among us who are seeking to move our city forward? And made it just a little bit easier for you to become one of them?”

— Larry Platt

On Wednesday, we celebrate our two year anniversary with a civic impact birthday bash. We hope that you can join us!

You’ll have the opportunity to post on our Wall of Impact, and to meet some of the amazing civic innovators we’ve featured in The Citizen.

Read about some of them here:

RSVP for the party here.

The Philadelphia Citizen will only publish thoughtful, civil posts. We want to be a communal space. But that doesn’t mean you have a First Amendment right to be an idiot. Send us an insulting, offensive and/or wildly off-topic comment and not only will we refrain from posting it -- we will laugh at you before we hit delete.
